2017 Legends Hoops Fall Travel Team Info & RSVP Page: Fall Travel Teams will be formed for Lady Legends and Legends Hoops boys rosters for incoming 6th, 7th, & 8th grade based teams, plus Freshman, JV & Varsity levels based on player skill, game experience & commitment to improvement!
COACHES: Fall Travel Teams will be Coached by Napa Valley College staff and NVC Team players as a continuation of our partnership with NVC, as well as veteran Legends Alumni Staff, to include local High School Coaches. Team focus will be on player development for all players, with High School readiness a focus area for those players not yet playing in High School and optimization of game IQ, skills and increase of conditioning for all High School players in advance of the High School Team Try Outs that begin in November (and middle school Team or CYO try outs).
SCHEDULE: All Teams will practice 3x a week for 1.5 hr each practice starting August 20 and ending October 13, and include 5 Saturdays of 1 hour long Legends Skills Clinics in girl only and boy only groups, and each Team will contest 10 games in the Fairfield Ballers AAU Fall Championship League of two local games per Team against local teams on Sundays, starting Sept 17 and with Championship Finals on Oct 15!
ELIGIBILITY: Alumni players will be given roster priority on a first come first served basis based on RSVPs/emails received and will be required to attend Try Outs to ensure skill balancing with players new to Legends. Each middle school grade and High School skill level will have two Team Try Outs and new players must attend both try outs during August. TRY OUT Dates will be provided via email following receipt of RSVP (make sure your email address is correct!). Try Outs are $10 per player per Try Out (to cover gym costs). All players assigned to a Travel team must obtain on their own a current AAU Youth Athlete Membership of Extended AB Type Insurance for $16 via Credit Card and provide us with the 8 digit alpha -numeric AAU membership # upon the first Try Out.
FEES: Our non-profit AAU Club Fall Team Fee includes five 1 hour Skill Clinic, 10 games, and over 100 hours of practice! (Uniforms are a separate fee and separate check as we have mostly Alumni players return each season.) Team Fee is $ 550 per player, with sibling discounts provided and limited partial sponsorship of Team Fee is available for financial hardship (when identified within the RSVP or email, on limited basis for each Team).
UNIFORMS: Alumni players are encouraged to wear the Legends uniform they already own, new players must order and pay for purchase a new uniform upon Team assignment following Team Try Outs in Mid August.
