(Our players that we have developed, have the highest rate of making their High School Team of any Youth Basketball organization in the Napa Valley for the past 4 years)!
COSTS: Final Player Fees will not be charged or due until all players have been assessed after the last Player Assessment on Nov 4 and we have a complete count of Registered players so that the lowest per player cost is determined. We anticipate a per player estimated cost of $175 to $250 for League Fees, with Alumni players not having to buy a uniform and new players will need to purchase a LEGENDS HOOPS uniform ( $75 for youth size and $80 for adult sizes for hi quality reversible dri-fit uniform). We will provide 22 days of practice total and 14 games for each player from Nov 2 to January 13, more than any other local League!
We are a non-profit organization with Federal Tax ID and we strive to only pass onto our operating costs. Competitive basketball and providing a high quality program requires greater operating costs. We strive to make competitive basketball affordable for our Napa Valley community.
SPONSORSHIP: We will provide limited partial sponsorship of player League Fees to those players with significant hardship or economic disadvantage, please notify us your request for sponsorship via our Contact Us link above in advance of our player's attendance at a 2015 LEGENDS HOOPS Winter Player Assessment. Winter Player Fees will be similar to Summer League Fees ($250). Unless your player already has a LEGENDS HOOPS League uniform, uniforms cost $75 for Youth sizes and $80 for Adult sizes and are not sponsored. (We recommend you buy a size larger to last a few seasons as we offer year round basketball opportunities, clinics and Teams).
UNIFORMS: League Player uniforms are high quality reversible dri-fit jersey and shorts ( LEGENDS HOOPS 2015 Summer League players already have their uniforms). $ 75 for Youth sizes and $ 80 for Adult sizes. Players keep their uniforms and learn to be responsible and respect their uniform by owning it.
UNIQUE LEAGUE FEATURES: Every player will be assessed using standardized skills testing at the beginning of the season by a staff of veteran assessors, then assessed again at mid-season by League Coaches & our assessors to accurately assess and measure mid-season player performance improvements and to identify challenge areas to enable Coaches to adjust areas of focus for individual players and team wide challenge areas. Then at the end of the League, each player will receive a written player assessment form identifying each basketball fundamental skill level to enable identification of the player's ability to make his High School team or other competitive team opportunities like CYO or AAU and their overall progress as a Team player.
COACHES: All League Coaches have a high level of experience and have completed a Dept. of Justice background check for approval to Coach youth players by the National AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) office and passed the Positive Coaching Alliance Course for Coaches, click HERE for more info on the course.
